Moodle LMS Integration Platform

<p>A university runs more than a learning platform. Zetech's Moodle now sits inside that estate rather than beside it, connected to the systems that own the data.</p><h2>What was built</h2><p>A custom Moodle local plugin exposing a versioned API, a student dashboard block for on-demand unit sync, a lecturer sync block, a finance-aware authentication plugin and a custom theme.</p><h2>Systems connected</h2><ul><li><strong>Student information system.</strong> Provisioning, enrolment on registered units, status changes, profile and registration-number corrections, unit withdrawal.</li><li><strong>Microsoft Business Central.</strong> Students are locked out on fee default and unlocked when payment clears — driven by finance, not a manual list.</li><li><strong>Timetable and workload.</strong> Registered units and lecturer workload pull into Moodle, so enrolment follows the timetable; lecturers are assigned, removed, suspended and reactivated from the same source.</li><li><strong>Results management.</strong> Assessment structure created inside each course, marks pushed in, grades pulled back out.</li><li><strong>Student portal.</strong> Payment-driven access, so both agree on who is cleared.</li></ul><h2>Why it matters</h2><p>Registry stopped re-keying enrolments, finance stopped emailing spreadsheets of defaulters, and students self-serve unit sync from their dashboard.</p>
